The January transfer window closes at 11pm tonight, with clubs scrambling to finalise deals. Chelsea are actively involved in both incomings and outgoings, with a major focus on squad reshaping.
- Ben Chilwell is set to join Crystal Palace on loan until the end of the season. The 28-year-old left-back has been frozen out by Enzo Maresca and will undergo a medical
today. Chilwell has played just one game this season and is not seen as a fit for Maresca’s system.
- Manchester United could move for Christopher Nkunku, following Marcus Rashford’s loan switch to Aston Villa. Nkunku has been frustrated by limited game time at Chelsea and is open to leaving.
- AC Milan are pushing to finalise a deal for Joao Felix, with Chelsea willing to sanction a loan move with an option to buy.
- Carney Chukwuemeka remains in limbo as Borussia Dortmund want a loan with a purchase option, but Chelsea insist on a dry loan.
- Chelsea are still working on a last-minute midfield signing, with Douglas Luiz from Aston Villa one of the main targets.
- Eli Junior Kroupi, an 18-year-old French forward, is expected to join Chelsea for £30m after the club beat West Ham and Bournemouth to his signature.
- Axel Disasi is in talks with Tottenham and Aston Villa, with Chelsea willing to accept a loan-to-buy deal.
- Evan Ferguson was a Chelsea target, but he is set to join West Ham on loan from Brighton.
- Chelsea have submitted a €45m bid for Facundo Buonanotte, who is also wanted by Tottenham.
