According to reports, a verbal agreement was reached whereby Milan will cover the 25-year-old’s full wages as part of a straight loan deal that includes a fee package worth €5.5million, without an option to buy. Chelsea have confirmed that the loan deal is set to run until June 1, which will enable Felix to play for Chelsea at the Club World Cup this summer. A similar arrangement is in place for Carney Chukwuemeka’s loan move to Borussia Dortmund. Felix’s move comes just five months after he rejoined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid in a £44.5m deal and on a six-year contract with an option for an extra 12 months. During his time with us this season, the former Benfica forward made only three Premier League starts, scoring his sole league goal against Wolverhampton Wanderers, and managed a total of seven goals across all competitions. Meanwhile, AC Milan are currently eighth in Serie A and have been active in the market, recently completing the loan signing of right-back Kyle Walker from Manchester City.
