Chelsea star Cole Palmer has acknowledged his recent dip in form but assured fans he will return to his best after failing to score or assist in his last seven games.
Cole Palmer has opened up about his struggles following Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Southampton, as his goal drought extended to seven matches. Despite taking more shots than any other player in the match, Palmer was unable to get on the scoresheet and appeared visibly dejected at full-time.
Taking to Instagram, the 22-year-old reassured fans that he will "be back" while Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca also offered his support. Maresca stressed that tough periods are normal for all top players and encouraged Palmer to keep working hard. The victory lifted Chelsea back into the top four, but with the table tightly contested, the coming months will be crucial in their push for European football.
