The1905.Club Summary

Among the players who travelled for the first leg tie is Benoit Badiashile, who has not featured in a match-day squad since December 8 due to an injury he picked up in training.

Cole Palmer is included in a Conference League squad for the first time since our qualifiers with Servette back in August. The England international was left out of the squad for the league phase as the club looked to manage his workload.

Clubs were allowed to make up to three changes to their 'A' list of players for the knockout stages, with Palmer, Trevoh Chalobah and January signing Mathis Amougou coming into our squad.

Key Points

Noni Madueke, Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu are continuing their respective recoveries from injury while Wesley Fofana and Romeo Lavia are not included in the squad for the knockout stages - as was the case in the league phase - as the club manage their workloads following long-term injuries last season.

Chelsea's Round of 16 first-leg tie with Copenhagen will take place at the Parken Stadion on Thursday night, with kick-off at the earlier time of 5.45pm GMT.

The contest will be shown live on TNT Sports in the UK, while you can listen to audio commentary and follow minute-by-minute updates around the world on the official Chelsea website and app in our match centre.
