Chelsea will face either Real Betis, FC Heidenheim, FC Copenhagen, or Gent in the UEFA Conference League Round of 16, with the final opponent to be determined after the knockout play-offs.
After securing six wins from six in the league phase, Chelsea finished first in the overall standings and earned direct qualification for the Conference League last-16, bypassing the knockout play-off round. The Blues will now face one of four teams—Real Betis, FC Heidenheim, FC Copenhagen, or Gent—depending on the outcome of the two-legged play-off ties.
The draw for the Round of 16, as well as the quarter-finals and semi-finals, will take place on 21 February 2025. As a seeded team, Chelsea will play the first leg away on 6 March, before returning to Stamford Bridge for the second leg on 13 March.
Chelsea will be aiming for a strong start in the knockout rounds as they seek to lift their first-ever UEFA Conference League trophy.
