Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United have discovered it will take up to £66m to trigger Benjamin Šeško’s release clause, with all three clubs considering a summer move for the RB Leipzig striker.
RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško has emerged as a top transfer target for Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United, with the Premier League giants now aware of the price needed to sign him. The 21-year-old Slovenian forward has impressed in Germany, scoring 35 goals over the past two seasons, and has a release clause currently set at £58m, which could rise to £66m depending on performance-based parameters.
Arsenal are particularly keen, having held interest since January, but Chelsea and United are also in the market for a reliable striker due to underwhelming performances from their current forwards. Former footballers Nigel Winterburn and Dwight Yorke have endorsed Šeško as a strong option, with Yorke likening him to Alexander Isak but at a lower price.
